CAREER PROFILE

I am currently a High School Senior who is about to graduate, therefore my work experience is
limited, however, I have shown consistency in job positions. Most recently I received a position
to work as Resident Counselor at Camp Kanata in Wake Forest, NC for the summer of 2019. In
this position I will serve as a Resident Camp Counselor at overnight YMCA camp. I will work
closely with co-counselors to lead a cabin of female campers in all aspects of camp. I will share
devotions, assist with camp activities and serve as a mentor and role model at camp.

I have also worked for one year as an Assistant at AR Workshop, in Raleigh, NC. This position
allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills, and be creative in new ways. In my position as an
Assistant at AR Workshop, I helped customers create their own Do It Yourself projects. My
duties included leading workshops, helping customers during project design and creation,
restocking materials, organizing and cleaning the shop.

During the Summer of 2018, I was a Counselor in Training (CIT) at Camp Kanata. I was
selected through an application process to participate in the CIT training program. I worked to
support Camp Counselors at Resident Camp during a three week summer session. Each week I
was assigned to a cabin to serve as an assistant to counselors. I learned how to properly lead
devotions and assisted with camp activities such as sports, games, and crafts. During the summer
of 2017, I was a Counselor in Leadership Training (CILT) at Camp Kanata. I was selected as one
of 25 students to participate in the CILT training program for a three week summer session. I
helped to serve family style meals, led devotions, assisted with camp activities such as sports,
games, and crafts.
