When it came to researching and choosing different presenters I decided to chose the ones

who I personally enjoy and find entertaining myself. I picked presenters who appeal to
different to all age groups and genders. I researched and watched different videos of my
chosen TV presenters and wrote up things that I found stood out me and wrote out things
that made up their personality/character ( aka, their different presenting
techniques/characteristics). We then had to compare and contrast two of our chosen
presenters and explain why we think they have similar characteristics. Our final task was to
piece together all the information we found and put it into PowerPoint explaining all the
different techniques they used and to finally present it to the class. We filmed our
presentations to use it as evidence for our final grades. I found out some interesting when I
was researching the presenters, I didn’t know that Keith Lemon was a made up character
that was completely made up in his head, he plays the role so good that you think that that
was how he acted in real life but according to the people in his life that know him personally
he is a completely different person. I think this assignment was very helpful because it
showed me how to properly present even if it was just to my peers, it also gave me in
insight to how the different TV presenters act on our television screen compared to their
everyday life’s.
