Dear Lord and Lady Capulet,
I am alive right now. I took a poison that made me appear to be dead for 2 days.
Please do not freak out and try to find me. I am safe now. I am not coming back anytime soon.
But do know that I am grateful for everything that you have done for me and that I love you
both dearly.
I am sorry that I could not marry Paris. You see, I am already married to my true
love, Romeo. We met that night that you my father, Capulet, through that party. We keep
making eye-contact, and I just knew that I loved him and that he was the one for me right
then and there. We then talked for that night and the next morning and decided that we should
get married.
I am so sorry that I lied to you all about getting married to Romeo. You see only, I,
Romeo, my Nurse, and the Friar knew about it. I knew that if I has told you all that father
would have forbid it and you both would hate me. I do hope that you understand all the secrecy
now. I do wish that we could have told you.
Please forgive me for all that I have done against you. I did not mean any harm. I just
wanted to be with Romeo. He makes me happy. Please do not disown me. I still love you all
and wish you all the best of luck in life.
I am with Romeo now and seeing that he is in exile we will not be coming back to
Verona at this moment. If the king does forgive Romeo and permit him to come back to fair
Verona, then Romeo and I will gladly return. Hopefully then all of us can celebrate this
marriage and all be happy together.
Sending love and best regards you way! I will miss you all dearly and will await till we
meet again!
Sincerely,
