ACP Cladding Technical Specifications

n Supply, Fabrication and fixing in position aluminum composite panel cladding of


Eurobond/Alucobond/Durabuild (colors at the choice of client) make Comprising of POLYETHYLENE
CORE sandwiched between skins of 0.50 mm thick special alloyed aluminum sheet to have overall
thickness of 4 mm to masonry /concrete parapets.

n The composite panel of required shapes and profiles will be fixed to the parapet using 50mmx25mmx2mm
Rectangular Box section as backup aluminum framework.

n The Anchoring of the ACP Cladding to the RCC Beams / Slabs / Columns shall be done with 6mm thick
MS brackets & Clamps (hot dip Galvanized to 80-100 micron thick).

n The Anchoring of Brackets to RCC Beams shall be done with M10x90 Hilti/Fischer/Commercial
Equivalent make anchors with a minimum anchoring depth of 75 mm in the concrete to withstand the dead
load of ACP Cladding as well as stresses due to Wind Pressure.

n The grooves between the ACP panels shall be sealed by inserting Bond Breaking Backer Rod as
manufactured by Supreme Industries and by application of High Performance Structural Silicon Sealant
DC 995 and 3M Tapes from inside, and DC-789 from outside as manufactured by Dow Corning or
Silpruf/Ultrapruf GE Sealants.

n Gaps up to 10 15 mm between the Masonry / R.C.C. / Stone and the Peripheral Mullions and Transoms
shall be sealed by inserting Bond Breaking Backer Rod as manufactured by Supreme Industries, and by
application of weather silicon sealant DC 789 (Black) of Dow Corning both from inside and outside to
make the cladding air/water tight.

Standard Dimensions

Thickness : 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm & 6mm as per order
Size : 1220 X 2440mm, 1220mm X 3050mm, 1220mm X 3660mm
In addition to this we can also provide APSs in larger width of 1575mm.
