Task Analysis

Introduction:
I plan to create a table which will be space saving by looking at the information provided by my client such as the room size, number of tasks
to be performed and by reflecting upon the information provided I will construct a table.

Situation Statement:
Multi-purpose table plays a key role in our lives
today. It provides us with space saving features.
Multi-purpose table includes dining, console,
coffee, small side table, computer or study tables.
They can be used to fulfill design, functional and
other needs. Multi-purpose table would require less
space to perform double or triple tasks.

Problem Statement:
My client is facing issue with regard to
studying, using computer, organizing books and
stationary. His room is small in size which
cannot afford separate tables for studying and
computing or a shelf for stationary or books. So,
he requires a table which would be multi-
purpose and will fulfill his basic space saving
requirements.
Design Brief:
I have decided to design a multi-purpose table for
my client due to lack of space in his room, causing
difficultly in organizing his stationary, computer
and books. I intend to design a table which has
enough space to place computer and is comfortable
enough to study. I aim to construct a table which
has some storage boxes, where my client can
organize his stationary without creating with some
racks where his books can be places. With the help
of my client I plan a design a table which will
fulfill all his space saving requirements. It will be
designed according to the dimensions of the room.
Furthermore, it will specifically be for books,
stationary, studying and computing.
