They will be addressing this issue vigorously and starting disciplinary procedures immediately. The Union will represent the membership to the fullest, but to avoid unnecessary discipline, there are Postal policies in place that must be followed, 1. Do not carry your plastics in your pocket. They must be in their proper racks. 2. If you need to call out, you must call 1-877-477-4273, and not your immediate supervisor. Only after you have made several attempts to call this number and failed, contact your immediate supervisor. 3. Always write down your confirmation number to verify that you called out and followed Postal policy. 4, When returning to work, always get a copy of your Form 3971 and verify that all the information on the 3971 is correct and if not, please advise the ERMS Office. If you cannot get it corrected, ask for a union representativ 5. When calling out, you should estimate total hours needed because ‘out could be considered a separate occurrence. 6. If you are injured on duty, please request that your immediate supervisor fill out the paperwork for either a CA-1 or CA-2. 7. Always provide and update your medical information to the Medical Unit on the 1 Floor at the Lindbergh P & DC. You can also FAX your information to the Medical Unit, FAX# (215) 863-2089, and ALWAYS KEEP YOUR INFORMATION IN A FOLDER IN CASE MANAGEMENT MISPLACES ITI!!! 8, Always answer any letters from Management regarding your absence or injury and ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR 5-DAY LETTERS!
