Visit to Salford
Elim Church
This Wednesday the Church Committee is visiting Salford Elim Church to find out how
they do ministry and think and pray about God’s vision for the church here at St Cuthbert’s.
Even if you are not on the Church Committee, it may be helpful for you to attend. Please
speak to one of the Wardens or Mike if you are interested in coming along.
Youth Alpha Course
It has not been easy, but we now plan to start on 18 November at 6pm with food followed
by the course proper. More details from Jacob.
Day of Prayer
Friday, 26th November 9.30 a.m. – 2.30 p.m
at Trinity Church, Cheadle. An opportunity
to pause and reflect with Art produced by
Revd. Richard Lowson during his sabbatical.
Come for as long or as short a time as you can manage. The day will commence and
conclude with led prayers (at 9.30 & 2.15); the rest of the time is free for you to use as you
will. Combine your morning visit with Refreshments at Coffee Morning
Festive Wine Tasting 27 November 7.45pm
The speaker is Becky Silver talking on “The best is yet to come” and the
wine tasting is led by Jude Mullins International Director of The Wine &
Spirit Education Trust who will help us discover which wines go best with
which types of food. The cost is £10 for a single
ticket and £16 for two tickets for those who are able to invite a friend.
These are available from the Wardens after the service.
