BACKSTOP INSTRUCTION

Turn the shaft length adjustment knob ① in 1 2

the direction shown by the arrow. Turn it till
the tip of the shaft reaches to the end of the
base plate of the BACKSTOP ②.

Turn the spring tension adjustment knob ③

in the direction shown by the arrow until it
stops turning, while holding the shaft length
adjustment knob ① in the place.

Tune the guitar. Make sure that the tremolo

bridge is set parallel to the surface of the
guitar.

Turn the shaft length adjustment knob ① in the

direction shown by the arrow until it touches the
tremolo block, while keeping the spring tension
adjustment knob ③ in the place.

By using a screwdriver, turn the tremolo spring

adjustment screw several times clockwise. (To
get maximum tuning stability, even if breaking a
string, completely loosen the string that you
normally break. After the tremolo spring
adjustment, retune the remaining strings to
pitch.)

Adjust the spring tension adjustment knob ③

while holding the shaft length adjustment knob 3 1
① in the place to achieve the adequate spring
tension from the BACKSTOP.
