What was your knowledge on your group theme before participating in the
program? *
Energy is one of the basic necessity that has been becoming human rights that
has to be fulfilled. Therefore, all of the stakeholders in the world is striving to
achieve 100% electrification for every population in the world. But we
cannot only think about how we electrify our countries but we have to think
also about the sustainability. Energy has various sources from fossil fuels to
renewable energy. Sources from fossil fuels are oil, gas and coals and from
renewable energy are solar, wind turbine and hydro power.

What is your findings and gained knowledge about your group theme though
the program? *
I learned a lot of things from the energy topic in this program. Firstly, from
the lectures of Dr. Yamaguchi about electrification in Myanmar. He
presented his research about the problem that Myanmar faces and what are
the solutions. One of the most important things form his lecture is that a
nation have to diversify its power source. This is very important point
because our nation still rely on fossil fuels for our power source. Secondly, I
learnt a lot of things from our trip to Miyagi about how to rebuild a city after
natural disaster. Lastly, I understand how to create an electrification project
from our workshops. We must know the root of problems, and finding the
solution and approach for making the project.
