One of the most important goals is Goal #6, which is clean water and sanitation.

This is

important because water is used for basically everything and if it is clean then an individual can

use it without getting sick. At the current time, more than 2 billion people live with the risk of

reduced access to freshwater resources. By 2050, at least one in four people is likely to live in a

country affected by chronic or recurring shortages of freshwater. This means that people in

countries like Africa will not be able to have access to clean and freshwater. In the United

Nations website, it is stated, “However, due to bad economics or poor infrastive, millions of

people including children die every year from diseases associated with inadequate water supply,

sanitation, and hygiene”. This is saying that children die every year because they get diseases,

which they get because where they live, more water supply is needed, they need to be more

clean, and children need to at least try to take care of themselves even though they are still kids.

Sanitation is also another reason as to why people are dying in other countries. Sanitation is

when there are health conditions related to clean drinking water and other problems. This means

that people sometimes do not get clean water because of not being sanitation. Water might have

not been cleaned cleaned very well, so people get sick because the water was not cleaned

correctly. In conclusion, Goal #6, clean water and sanitation, is the most important because it is

one of the reasons as to why millions of people and children die each year, and this world does

not need to lose more people when people the world is already losing others from other

conditions.
