Reading Comprehension exercise: Comparative and superlative adjectives

Read the text and underline all the comparative and superlative forms of the adjectives that you
identify in it.

The Rodriguez Brothers Circus is in town! Every year, the circus arrives and stays for a week. Then they go to
the next town.

There are not many animals in the circus. People told the circus that they didn't like seeing animals performing.
There is an elephant called Jacob and two old lions, Hattie and Meg.

Most of the performers are human! There is Leopold, The Strongest Man in the World. His father also worked
in the circus, but Leopold is stronger than him, he has bigger arms and bigger legs too! Leopold performs his
act every night for the town's people who come to watch.

Another performer is Clara. She says she has the longest hair in the world. It's about 4 meters long! She also
has a daughter who works in the circus. Her name is Sue-Ellen. Her hair is a lot shorter, but she wants to grow
it as long as her mother's. Sue-Ellen helps look after the animals and she's also learning how to juggle.

The best part of the circus is the three clowns, Pit, Pot and Pat. They all wear long red shoes, but Pat's shoes
are the longest and sometimes, he falls over because they're so long! They perform for about twenty minutes
and they are always the most popular act with the audience, especially the children. Many people think Pit, Pot
and Pat are three brothers, but Pat is older than the other two - he's their father! He's the oldest clown in the
country, but he has a lot of energy.

Tomorrow will be the longest day because the circus is leaving town and everything must be packed away into
big trucks.

Lee el texto y subraya todas las formas comparativas y superlativas de los adjetivos que identificas en él.

¡El circo de los hermanos Rodríguez está en la ciudad! Cada año, el circo llega y se queda durante una semana. Luego
van a la siguiente ciudad.

No hay muchos animales en el circo. La gente le dijo al circo que no les gustaba ver actuar a los animales. Hay un
elefante llamado Jacob y dos leones viejos, Hattie y Meg.

La mayoría de los artistas son humanos! Está Leopold, el hombre más fuerte del mundo. Su padre también trabajó en el
circo, pero Leopold es más fuerte que él, ¡también tiene brazos más grandes y piernas más grandes! Leopold realiza su
acto todas las noches para las personas de la ciudad que vienen a ver.

Otra intérprete es Clara. Ella dice que tiene el pelo más largo del mundo. ¡Tiene unos 4 metros de largo! Ella también
tiene una hija que trabaja en el circo. Su nombre es Sue-Ellen. Su cabello es mucho más corto, pero quiere crecer tanto
como el de su madre. Sue-Ellen ayuda a cuidar a los animales y también está aprendiendo a hacer malabares.

La mejor parte del circo son los tres payasos, Pit, Pot y Pat. Todos llevan zapatos largos rojos, pero los zapatos de Pat son
los más largos y, a veces, ¡se cae porque son tan largos! Actúan durante unos veinte minutos y siempre son el acto más
popular entre la audiencia, especialmente los niños. Mucha gente piensa que Pit, Pot y Pat son tres hermanos, pero Pat
es mayor que los otros dos: ¡es su padre! Es el payaso más viejo del país, pero tiene mucha energía.

Mañana será el día más largo porque el circo se está yendo de la ciudad y todo debe ser guardado en grandes camiones.
