After watching as many movies on high school as possible, and talking to as many

graduates I could, I can assure you, high school is nothing like anyone says it will be. Each
and every person has different experiences that stand out from others’. For me, high school
has been the biggest learning experience. I have had to make hard decisions, learn how to
manage my schedule, and also enjoy myself through it all. Throughout my three years here,
I have experienced many highs and lows that define my experience.

I cannot define my high of high school as one single event. I have had to work really hard to
get myself where I am. I am proud of myself for not giving in to pressure from friends or
others. I have been able to remain true to my morals with the help of those I can truly call
my friends. Looking back on all the opportunities I have had to take a different path than
the one I’m on now, I wouldn’t go back. Maybe doing that would lead me to be more popular
or have more friends. It also could of lead me into irreversible situations that would’ve
impacted my future forever. None of that seems worth it to me. I will always look back on
this decision and think about how thankful I am for a good support system around me.

The low of high school would be the amount of pressure that is put on me by all my
teachers. I find myself feeling stuck with all the homework, tests, and projects I have to do. It
was a struggle to be able to manage all of my school stuff with extracurricular activities, my
job, and then being able to find time for myself. This taught me a very important lesson of
time management. I will be able to use this skill in every situation in my life.

Even though I am ready to move on to the next chapter of my life, I will never regret how I
handled high school. It helped shape me into who I am and it taught me many important
lessons that I will never forget.
