I Believe In Achieving Anything

If you have the will to do it, you will do it. I believe that people can do whatever it is that

they want to do as long as they put their mind to it. I strongly believe this because I can relate

with this. As a child growing up, I’ve always loved chips, I stole a bag of chips when I was

younger. I knew the consequences, but my mom wouldn’t buy chips so my mind was determined

to take those delicious bag of chips. Mind you, I was about 4 when I committed misdemeanor,

but it was all worth it. Now that I think back to it, I thoroughly enjoyed those scrumptious chips

and was glad I had decided to listen to my “Inner self”. You can achieve something as long as

you believe.

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, AKA “The Weeknd” was born in Toronto, Canada, he was

once homeless. The Weeknd is one of the most known R&B artists in the music industry.

Although Abel struggled, he managed to set his mind on becoming an amazing artist, and

devoted his time to creating music. Abel had a total of three mixtapes that created a buzz, but he

uploaded earlier tracks onto youtube in 2010. The three critically acclaimed tapes, “House of

Balloons”, “Thursday”, and “Echoes of Silence” were just the beginning of Abel’s successful

music career.

Aubrey Graham is another good example of an individual that set their mind up for

greatness. Aubrey Graham, better known by his stage name “Drake”, is a Canadian-American

artist, but he was first recognized as an actor. Drake first acted on the television show

“Degrassi”, then pursued his dream of becoming a successful artist. Drake had a couple of

mixtapes, such as “Room for Improvement”, “Comeback Season”, and “So Far Gone”.

Eventually Drake was taken under Lil Wayne’s wing and signed by “Young Money

Entertainment”. Currently Drake is one of the top artists in the world and has had numerous

tracks on No. 1 for Billboard’s “Hot 100”.

Daniel Hernandez or better known by his stage name, “6ix9ine” or “Tekashi 6ix9ine” is

an extremely popular artist/celebrity that has used unconventional techniques to gain fame.

6ix9ine gained a buzz with his debut single “Gummo” in 2017, his career has set off since.

Although there have been legal issues, 6ix9ine has often been featured on Billboard’s “Hot 100”.

Daniel doesn’t let his legal problems interfere with his increasing rise to fame. He has set his

mind on becoming a great artist.

The willings of others can help them do something. It may seem simple when you think

about it, but actually applying it to your everyday life might be difficult. Basically if you really

want something done, you’ll be able to achieve that goal. This belief has helped me understand

what is important to me. Just like how the artists I used as examples, they wanted to achieve

greatness and they did. You can accomplish something as long as it is something you wish.
