Career Pathway

Having an Uncle who owns a business has inspired me to become a business

manager one day. I’ve always had the craziest dreams growing up. For example, being

in the NBA or the NFL has always been a dream of mine, however, as older and wiser

I’ve gotten, I finally started to come into realization that that is far from happening. With

that being said, I’ve been thinking of what I want to be and where I want to go in life. I

want to attend UC Berkeley when i’m out of high school and major in business. It has

been a big time dream to one day own a company under my name. In addition, I would

like to be in school for as long as 6 years to achieve my Bachelor’s degree. I feel that I

am ready due to all the attributes I consist of. I am well prepared for the next phase of

life. With the help of my Uncle, I feel that I am headed in the right direction and will

soon be able to own a business. My Uncle has been owning his business for 15-17 years

and he’s given me a taste of how to work it. I will be the one to tell you that it was fun

and pretty easy. On top of that, I will be able to provide for my family in the future with

all the money i’ll be making. I am ready for the challenge and will become a business

manager one day.
