Today I would like to welcome you all to Ho Chi Minh city. And now I’m doing to take

you all around Saigon discovering some popular attractions that you cannot miss

when visiting this lovely city, which is District 1. And after that, we are going to eat a

very tasty Vietnamese tradition dish, that is broken rice. Formerly known as Saigon,

Ho Chi Minh is the business and financial hub of Vietnam. It’s one of the fastest

growing cities and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. Ho Chi

Minh city is a place of services, offices, shopping malls. Vietnamese from other cities

usually come to HCMC after they get 18 years old to study university and find a job

here. Some foreigners also come to HCM city to become an English teacher. We will

be going through district 1. District 1 is the most developed district in Ho Chi Minh

City, where there are many entertainment and dining areas, such as walking street

Nguyen Hue, Notre Dame Cathedral, independent palace, bitexco financial tower,

saigon garden, etc. On weekends, people in Saigon will rush to District 1 for fun and

entertainment after a week of intense work. And now I will introduce you to a place

not only famous but also very old in this Ho Chi Minh City that’s Ben Thanh Market.

It’s a famous market in HCM city It’s not only a place of business, but this market has

also become a historical witness to the ups and downs of the city over the past

hundred years, the economic face of the development of a city of commerce. Biggest

trade in the country and the point of harmony between ancient Saigon and now. Ben
Thanh market is an indispensable place for any tour to Ho Chi Minh City. When you

come here you can see a lot of souvenirs, you can buy one for your family when you

come back home. Ben Thanh market is open all days of the week between 7 am to 7

pm. You will have 1 hour to explore this place. After that, please come back here so

we can be ready for lunch. And now I will introduce to you the best of dishes in HCM

city that’s broken rice. It usually served with fried eggs, green onions and a variety of

meats such as grilled pork chops, shredded pork skin, steamed pork, and egg patty.

You can also enjoy this dish with a side of pickled vegetables, cucumber slices and

Vietnam fish sauce. This dish is the most food people around here eat every day

because of it cheap and delicious. It usually costs about 20.000VNĐ to 70.000VNĐ a

dish. Now we have just arrived at the restaurant. The best restaurant broken rice here

is Ba Ngon restaurant and Ba Ghien restaurant you can come and try it. Everyone will

have 1 hour here and then we will go back to the hotel to get some rest. Enjoy your
