LESSON PLAN IN SCIENCE 11

JUNE 4, 2019

I. Objective: At the end of the period , students are expected to:


a. draw a graphic organizer about universe and solar system

II. Subject Matter:


a. Topic: Lesson 1, Universe and Solar system
b. Reference: K-12 Earth and Life Science for SHS. Pp. 3- 6
c. Materials: Construction paper, coloring materials, any reading resources

III. Procedure:
a. Preparatory Activities:
1. Prayer: To be led by the student
2. Greetings: Both Students and Teacher
3. Attendance: Teacher will facilitate the calling of the attendance of the students. After which, a
student will be asked to write the total number of student present and absent.

b. Motivation:
 Students will play “ Hula Moh”
 group them into 3.
 Each group will be given 2 minutes to guess for the mystery word prepared by the teacher.
(Max. 5 words), one member will act out the word, then the rest will guess.

c. Lesson Proper:
- tell the students to prepare their materials for the activity.
- inform them to use short bond paper for the said activity which is to;

 draw a graphic organizer about universe and solar system

d. Generalization:
- after the activity, the teacher will call one volunteer to discuss his/her output.

IV. EVALUATION:
STUDENTS OUTPUT ON THEIR GRAPHIC ORGANIZER WILL BE CHECKED.

V. ASSIGNMENT:
RESEARCH ON THE DIFFERENT HYPOTHESES EXPLAINING THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE AND SOLAR
SYSTEM.
