Hello Everyone, My name is John Stephenson and I am a senior at First

colonial high School. The issue that my senior project focuses on is

Identity theft. This is a growing issue in our country with it increasing 8%
from just 2016 to 2017. From 2010-2016 identity theft cost americans 112
billion dollars. Each person affected by identity theft has to face 15 hundred
dollars in out-of-pocket costs and 175 hours to solve the incident. Identity
theft can affect any person no matter age or race. The best way to stop
identity theft from happening is knowing how to prevent it, which is the point
of this project. During this period you will have the chance to play a game,
do an activity, and read stories about identity theft. I hope everyone enjoys
themselves and learned something new. Now I will play a short video about
identity theft.
