Argumentative Quick Write

Prompt: ​Choose an image that represents your topic. Then create a caption for your image that uses one or more of your sources to explain to your
reader the background, historical implications, or implications on today’s society.

Example:

Many parents in the U.S are arguing about vaccines. There are parents who say that vaccines are bad for their kids and it causes autism. In a article
in Newsela by Alex Horton, a kid named Ethan Lindenberger, 18, decide to get vaccinated and tried to get his siblings vaccinated too, “His mother
resisted and claimed there were autism risks from vaccines, a common argument used by anti-vaccination groups that has been widely debunked”
This quote connects with the image above because many people are are protesting about that it's their choice to vaccinate their kids or not and how
it's causes kids to have a reaction or autism from the vaccine. In another article it states that MMR does not cause autism. “Researches found out
that 657,461 children included in the analysis, 6,517 were diagnosed with autism over the next decade but researchers found that the kids who got
autism wasn't because from the MMR vaccines.” This proves that MMR doesn't cause autism because researchers found out that not all kids who
got vaccinated by MMR got autism. There are still many parents fighting about if children should get vaccinated or not but we all think that
children vaccination is a must.
