Sumpong, Malaybala May 24, 2019 DIVISION MEMORANDUM No.__ #21 ___,s, 2019 IMPLEMENTATION OF REVITALIZED COURTESY, RESPECT AND CLEANLINESS (CRC) PROGRAM 10: Curriculum Implementation Division School Governance and Operation Division Elementary and Secondary School Heads This Division 1. This division aims to make all schools a supportive and conducive place for learners and school staff to practice the value of courtesy, respect, and cleanliness. SIDLAK Bukidnon schools are clean where people are courteous and respectful. Thus, all schools are directed to implement the Revitalized Courtesy Respect and Cleanliness (CRC) Project for School Year 2019-2020 2. The program has the following objectives: A. Terminal: By the end of the program cycle the learners, teachers, school head, non-teaching staff and school community shall be able to put to life behavioral expressions of courtesy, respect and cleanliness as an apparent manifestation of DepED’s core values being Makadiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, and Makabansa resulting to a positive environment for learning and working. B, Enabling: 1. Launched Revitalized CRC Program in the Division Level 2. Launched Revitalized CRC Program in the schools 3. Conducted Advocacy Activities and development of Advocacy materials 4. Developed school Policies on promotion, rewards and recognition on the practice of CRC 5. During the Launching of the program on June 3, 2019, the first day of classes for School Year 2019-2020, all schools are expected to post tarpaulins in the school campus on CRC Program and announce during the flag ceremony what the program is all about. The schools shall also post specific behavioral expressions of Courtesy, Respect and Cleanliness on the bulletin boards within the school campus and in every classroom that students and personnel are encouraged to practice in that month. 4. For the sustainability of the program the following shall be looked into: ‘The program should be included in the SIP/AIP with equivalent budget in the APP KRA2 (learning Environment) targets of school heads in their OPCRF should include the implementation of CRC program in their school and will be part of the rating during the performance evaluation KRA2 (learning Environment) targets of teachers in their IPCRF should include the implementation of CRC program in their classroom and will be part of the rating during the performance evaluation. ‘The criteria in the school, district, and division BANTULA should include indicator on the implementation of CRC Program. There shall be an annual search for the Best Implementer of the CRC program across levels and categories in the school level. 5. Below are Sample, but not limited to, behavioral expressions of courtesy and respect and cleanliness that the schools can choose from for the list of monthly behavioral expressions. However, schools are expected to contextualize and/or translate the behavioral expressions to the language appropriate to their learners. Schools may choose at least ten _ behavioral focus every month to ensure that such behaviors will be formed into habit. - Saying Thank you, sorry, please, excuse me, pardon me, and you are welcome - Saying good morning, good afternoon and good evening - Ask permission from the owner when you want to use their things and return them properly - Fallin line when it is asked for - Be a responsible library user. Observe library rules. - Walk silently along corridors. Classes may still be going on. - Turn-over found things to the school principal's office. - When in the playground, allow others to enjoy the playing apparatus you like. + Take care of school facilities and equipment as your own. Use books with utmost care. Your younger siblings will be needing the same soon. - When in the canteen, fall in line when needed. - Address the canteen keepers with respect and courtesy. = Place trash in the proper bins. Segregate waste properly. Use free provisions with utmost economy. Let others benefit from them, too. = Treat every body well without looking at their personal looks - Saying things that build up others (the opposite is saying words that belittle and degrade others) - Saying things that are truthful noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable and praiseworthy - Listen when someone is talking - Have three kinds of garbage bins in all conspicuous places: malata, dili malata, marecycle - Make a compost area for garbage that is biodegradable - When eating candies, biscuits or anything with wrapper, throw the wrapper in an appropriate garbage bin/can (for biodegradable or for non- biodegradable). When there is no garbage bin/can in sight, keep the wrapper in one’s pocket or bag. - Put back to the right place what you have taken - Do your cleaning assignment during your assigned day.
