ABSTRACT

The aims of this in planta research were to know ability of some botanical
pesticides in infected soil remediation. Completely Randomized Block Design with four
replicates was used. Factor tested was control, neem leaves extraxt, teak wood bark
soaking water, and clove leave dust. Soil used has been infested naturally with Fusarium
oxysporum and Ralstonia solanacearum coming from Pratin pepper high land,
Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency. Result of the research pointed out that
combination of the all given botanical pesticides could be used to remedy the infested soil
based on decreasing Fusarial disease intensity of 80.4% and decreasing late population of
F. oxysporum and R. solanacearum up to 60.0 and 51.91%, respectively. Wilting
symptom caused by R. solanacearum did not appear, and crop height and incubation
period were not influenced by the pesticides combination.

Key words: Botanical pesticides, Soil remediation, Fusarium oxysporum, Ralstonia
