Food is part of the good life of the human being, product of the convergence of the state, academia and
enterprise. From the value chain theory, the existence of a gap in the formation of human talent within the
manufacture of tropical fruits in the province of Manabí-Ecuador has been determined. The objective is to
determine whether the human talent of tropical fruit manufacturing is related to and affects the food
industry of non-alcoholic beverages. The methodology used is aligned to an analytical quantitative type
investigation, the correlational design, has measured the degree of incidence; The instruments for data
collection was a questionnaire, applied through a survey and the opinion of experts from the productive
chain and registered in the database of the Internal Revenue Service of Ecuador (SRI), who belong to the
Unified International Industrial Classification (ISIC), producers, manufacturers and marketers of non-
alcoholic beverages derived. The results say that there is a high relationship of the formation of human
talent in the manufacture of tropical fruits and affects the value chain of the food industry of non-alcoholic
beverages in Manabi-Ecuador. Of the analysis performed, the significance 0.00 is less than 0.05, and even
less than 0.01, which shows that the correlation (degree of incidence) that has been established, is true.
