– Perform complex tasks without direction – large scale and/or technically challenging

– Gain a better understanding of technical training available through RedVector, ESRI, Bentley,
Autodesk and others

Technical Goals

- Deliver new technical solutions

- Undertake a site survey – learn about health and safety on site and conduct a risk
assessment
- Improve on reinforcement detailing in concrete structures – enhance understanding and use
of best practices and experience

- Improve method of effective professional communications – verbal, presentation, written


skills, email management, Cisco WebEx
- Understand the use of timber structures as an option
- Improve understanding in BIM
- Attend more ICE/iStructE talks
- Gains basic understanding of quality objectives

Commercial Goals

- Learn to understand basic client requirements and ways to deliver


- Involve in major or minor contractual details and agreement
- Gains basic understanding of how AECOM makes money
- Learn to cost estimate and manage resources on projects on a small or large scale
