MY FAVORITES CITIES

My favorites cities are Cuzco, Trujillo and Arequipa.

CUZCO

Cuzco is a city in southeastern Peru located on the eastern slope of the Andes and It is
considered as the historical capital of Peru.
The city of cusco was the capital of the Inca Empire, one of the most important cities of the
Viceroyalty of Peru.

Actually, Cusco is the most touristic place in Peru. Its typical dishes and places like Machu
Picchu or its hanging hotels make it the most visited by tourists.

It is the seventh most populous city in Peru with 437 538 people.

TRUJILLO

Trujillo is a city located in northwestern Peru. It is known as the capital of spring and seafaring.
Trujillo is the most populated city in northern Peru and the third most populated city in the
country; has to the year 2015, an estimated population of 799 550 people.

The Historic Center of the city, known as "Cercado de Trujillo", extends over an area of 133.5
hectares. it constitutes the most important and characteristic urban nucleus of the city, in him
is great part of its cultural, architectonic and urbanistic patrimony.

Some of its tourist places are El Carmen Monastery the House of the Marshal of Orbegoso
the House of Emancipation and Chan Chan.

AREQUIPA

Arequipa is considered the second most important city in the country. it’s is located in the
southern highlands of Peru, 1 009 km from Lima.its climate is its climate is dry and sunny, with
a maximum average temperature of 25 ° C and a minimum of 10 ° C.

this city has an exquisite and varied gastronomy, and is endowed with an excellent tourist
infrastructure.

Arequipa, has a wide range of tourist attractions where attractions include the Arequipa
Cathedral, the temple and convent of the company of Jesus, Santa Catalina Monastery, old
mansions such as the house of Moral and the Goyeneche house, and the impressive canyons
of the Colca and Cotahuasi.
