This year’s observance carries the theme Global Action for Healthy Communities Without Drags. Relative to the above, all Provincial Governors, City Mayors, Municipal Mayors, DILG Regional Offices, and the ARMM Governor are encouraged to undertake appropriate activities geared towards increasing public awareness, particularly among the youth, on the value of a healthy lifestyle and the harmful effects of drugs, as well as, to generate social response on the prevention and control of drug problems nationwide. The display of streamers and banners carrying this year’s theme in strategic places within the locality is also encouraged. All DILG Regional Directors and the ARMM Regional Governor are hereby directed to cause the widest dissemination of this Circular to all local authorities within their respective jurisdictions, ensure the active involvement of all concerned, and submit a report within fifteen (15) days after the end of the said event, direct to the Dangerous Drugs Board, through Telefax No. (02) 929-6638 or email at info@ddb.gov.ph, on the activities undertaken in their respective areas, using the attached sample template. & MAR ROXAS sec @ ! cdi
