1. Why do athletes/athletic individuals need skill-rekated fitness?

Athletes/athletic individuals need skill-related fitness to enhance their performance in athletic/sport

events. It enables them to further develop their agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time and
speed, which are one of the most important factors in playing any specific sport.

2. Can others besides athletes benefits from skill-related fitness? Why?

Yes, because not only the athletes are the ones who need to enhance their agility, balance,
coordination, power, reaction time or speed. We use these components in a daily basis without
realizing that it take such huge effect in our lives. If we start to give an emphasis and appreciation to
these components and actually practice and develop it within us, everyone could benefit from it in such
a way that life will be easier and better to deal with.

3. Do you think that skill-related fitness could also be a component of health related fitness? Explain.

I do think so, health related fitness involves skills that enable one to become and stay physically healthy.
Skill-related fitness on the other hand, is focused on enhancing one's performance in athletic/sport
events. If we correlate it, both fitness training requires the people to undergo varieties of exercises to
develop each of their components leading to a healthy body. It's just that health related fitness targeted
the body parts itself while skill related fitness targeted the skills we can do with our body. Generally,
both fitness training aims for a physically healthy body.
