ABOUT:

Ire Omitowoju, an intern at the Kindred Hair and Skin Center and junior at River Hill High
School, conducted research to see if there was a relationship between a patient’s curl
pattern and their likelihood of alopecia. Hair samples of patients with various types of
alopecias and breakage were collected as part of Omitowoju’s research for the 2018-2019
school year.
