She went to life in the street.

4. What does she mean when she says she needed to “throw her life around”? What is
the meaning of this expression?

The meaning of this expression is to do things to change the curse of your life and is
the opposite of not throw her life away. She understood the possibility of taking
control of her life and the way to follow her dream.

5. A stranger asked her where she saw herself in 5 years. What about you? Where do you
see yourself?

The next 5 years will be a turning point in my life, specially related to my profession
and personal achievements. I see myself more mature and probably feeling
accomplished with my profession. Regarding the personal side, I see myself as a father
or preparing to be one.

6. Throughout her presentation, Melanie repeats a motto: “closed doors, open

windows”. What do you understand from this statement?

This statement represents the positive look through our life and how to be resilient
despite some failures in our lives.

7. In what ways did the stranger change her life?

The stranger represent a moment of impact in her live that was able to that her out
from a negative perspective and presented her with the necessary energy to make
difference.
