Types of Music

Do you listen to music? All the people like listening to music. People listen to music

because they feel identified with the lyrics or because they enjoy listening to music. Sometimes

people use music as therapy. There are many types of music, this essay will mention two types.

The first type of music is instrumental music. First, this type of music is usually used to

set scenes for movies. For example, in the movie The Titanic, the instrumental music used is

“My Heart Will Go On”. Additionally, instrumental music also helps people to relax. In fact,

studies have shown that using music as a therapy helped people with epilepsy to reduce their

epileptic attacks.

The second type of music is reggaetón. First, this type of music is the most popular type

of music in recent years. People who never hear reggaetón now like it. An example is the song

“Despacito”, this song was heard worldwide, and most people liked it. On the other hand, many

people don’t like this type of music especially of the lyrics because the lyrics are very rude for

children and young people. An example is the song “Cuatro babys” by Maluma, this song is very

descriptive in terms of intimacy between couples.

In conclusion, there are many types of music, but not all people will like all types of music.

People can listen to any kind of music, and that does not mean they have education or not.
