TRIQAP:Enrique’s Journey

This is about a kid called Enrique he had to go in a journey in the look for his
mother who went to to north carolina to make some money for her kids in
honduras. Specifically, immigration is good for the migrants themselves. For
example, the immigrants get better at providing for the family that they left.
According to Sonia Nazario, “She cooks him rice, pork, and watches with
pleasure as he eats”. This shows hows enrique mother care´s for him Enrique
has had lots of love from his mother since he has moved to the US.

But sometimes immigration is so bad in the US that people can die. To be exact,
people who cross the border can sometimes get killed going across the train to
the U.S. For example, Mexicans and other migrants can get killed on the train on
their journey to the U.S. In the text, Enrique says” His right shin is gashed. His
upper lip is split. The left side of his face is swollen. His eyes are red, filled with
blood. He is crying. He dabs at open wounds on his face with a filthy sweater he
has found on the tracks”.(53)As a result, when he fell off of the freight train he
was hurt so bad that he had very bad bleeding. He has sacrificed his life to get to
the U.S. to follow their dreams.

Immigration is actually pretty good. To be exact, immigration is good for the

home countries. For example, the migrants get to have money from their families
in the US. According to Sonia Nazario, “ What about the money I sent you?” she
says. Whenever he asked for something-a television, a soccer ball- she sent it.”
Therefore, she gets to live her dreams in the US while her son lives in Honduras.
Now, this shows immigration is good for the home countries.

But sometimes the immigration isn’t good. To be precise, isn’t good for their
home countries. For instance, the people that leave their families in the home
countries now are sad. Because the person is by themselves and they feel
abandoned. In the text, Sonia nazario says””But it will never fill the emptiness I
have felt for so long”...The love of a mother is something you can’t replace”.
Because of this all this time Belky has developed a sadness in her heart. This is
why immigration isn’t good for the home countries the people are migrating from.
Immigration sometimes is super bad. In particular isn’t good for the U.S. or it’s
citizens. To illustrate in the world immigrants make classrooms in america
crowded and now don’t have any room for it’s U.S. citizens children. According to
the text” The crush of immigrants has contributed to a decline of many public
services, namely schools,, hospitals, and state jails and prisons. Classrooms are
overcrowded”. Consequently immigrants take up everything that used to be only
for U.S. citizens. Now finally immigration has pros and cons to it all.

Immigration is good for the United States and its citizens.To be precise ,
immigrants
Can help the the economy grow and help factories from being closed. For
instance, immigrants do all the work that the citizens don’t want to do. According
to Sonia Nazario”Many experts say immigrants help the economy grow and
prevent businesses that rely on cheap labor from being forced to close or ship
jobs abroad”. Thus, the people that employ them can finally stay where they want
to and have jobs for everyone. Immigration doesn’t have that many bad things
but there are some good things.
