‘The Courseware (Training Material)
‘Aston Swann Education courseware consists of the seven ECDL / ICDL Modules. All have a
specific focus on classroom use; the result is an ECDL / ICDL experience that is totaly in
context for schools and colleges. The courseware addresses all the skils covered in the
ECDL syllabus; therefore, on completion of this learning programme, learners should fee!
confident to undertake their ECDL / ICDL qualification.
The Courseware layout
Each Module is divided into Examples. Each Example contains Exercises which are byte size
learning chunks which cover one or more syllabus Task items. Examples and Exercises can
bbe used and printed individually or as a total Module,

A separate Teacher Training and Support Guide is available, with timed lesson plans,

The Learning
Students ‘learn by doing’ in the live application. Step-by-step instructions guide the learner
easily through the courseware. This is @ blended learning programme that has been
developed as instructor-led coursework andlor individual use; as a self-study option, drop in
workshop; or any combination of these options.

Managed Learning Environments, Virtual Learning Environments and Virtual School
Environments.
