Confidentiality Agreement

This Confidentiality agreement dated on 20th Day of April, 2019 between

UNION OF INDIA

-and-

ADVOCATE

1. That Disclosure proposes to disclose certain confidential information related to the

case to the Counsel and Counsel agrees to not share any of that information to any
person other than specified by the client.
2. That Counsel shall hold in strict confidence all information concerning the case of the
client acquired in the course of the professional relationship, regardless of the nature
or source of the information or of the fact that others may share the knowledge, and
shall not divulge any such information unless disclosure is expressly or impliedly
authorized by the client, or is required by law or by a court.
3. That Counsel shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the privacy and safekeeping of
a client’s confidential information.
4. That Counsel shall not disclose the facts of having been consulted or retained by a
person unless the nature of the matter requires such disclosure.
5. That Counsel shall preserve the client’s secrets even after the termination of the
services.
6. That Client shall not disclose course of action to any person other than required by
law.
