Biographical profile of Marie Curie.

Maria Salomea Skłodowska was the name of birth of Marie Curie, she was born
November 7, 1867, in Varsovia, Polonia, in a family of four daughters, and she was
the youngest. The Marie´s parents were a professors, her father of physics and
mathematics because of this Marie felt interested in this sciences.
When she grew up, she wanted to study the college, in a career like sciences
physics, but in that time the studies of college was prohibited for the women, for this
reason she went to live in Paris, where live her sister, but her sister didn’t have
money to pay their expenses, and she had to work to raise money to pay for college.
After of raise the money for pay the college, she change her name to can enroll in
college, and was when she start to named Marie. In that college she met to Pierre
Curie who was a professor and was when they felt in love, he and Marie. In 1895
they got married and their honey moon was a tour all France on their bicycles.
They changed their house in a laboratory, and started theirs studies of radioactivity.
Those studies were the ones that made her a successful woman in the area of
science. She was an important women, was the first woman to be a teacher at a
university, and the first woman who won a Nobel prize.
