UTILIZATION EFFICIENCY OF ON-GRID SOLAR TIED TO NEGROS ORIENTAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE
Abstract
This study aimed to assess the utilization of On-Grid solar tied to Negros
Oriental Cooperative. There were 16 commercial owners and 36 residential
owners with solar power that are included in this study under the city of
Dumaguete. The study revealed that Utilization of power and cost of savings
differ between residential and commercial. Commercial owners utilized solar
power almost 24/7 which they could benefit the solar very well. Residential
used only night time. The more utilized solar power, the higher is the return of
investments to both the residential and commercial system.
