Activity No. 1: Research

For a college student like me, research can be stressful knowing that aside from that, we

have to deal also with other subjects per term. But despite the difficulty, there is actually joy in

my heart that I can actually do it. Formats for research are really helpful in establishing our

learning and it shows proof of how vast the opportunities are in the field we are about to take in

the future.

There are MLA format and APA format that a student like me may use to further

strengthen the validity of the research. My generation is actually lucky that we live in the present

where research is easier to do with the help of technology. Instead of only using a book as a

reference in the library, internet can also be a useful tool where you may find online journals, e-

books, online newspapers and even social media like Youtube. You may access them anytime

unlike going in the library where time is limited. I could imagine the generation before internet

and advance technology came, that they were having a hard time to research and do their

papers. Imagine that they didn’t have printer and computer so everything that they did is

manual; they have to write and ease the pain of numbing hands. So as a responsible student,

my mantra is to not take everything for granted and to maximize my resources and the free time

that I have. I have to persevere this term in able to do my research well.
