IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS, 2019-20

1. Display of Answer Key for challenge

The UOH will upload the Answer Key, in the University website acad.uohyd.ac.in, of the
OMR based question papers, giving opportunity to the candidates to challenge.

Upload of Answer Key in the Website:

The candidates have to challenge the key with supporting document/ source at
ce@uohyd.ernet.in only. Challenges will not be considered if not supported by
document. University reserves the right for not accepting a challenge after the deadline is
over.

2. Reservation of seats for Other Backward Classes [OBC (non-creamy layer

category)] and Economically Weaker Sections [EWS]:

All the candidates who have applied under OBC Category were asked to upload the OBC
certificate issued in the Government of India format by the competent authority on or
after 1-4-2016. However, if any OBC candidate has not uploaded the said certificate
he/she will be required to produce the same at the time of admission/interview failing
which their candidature under the OBC category will not be considered. It may please be
noted that state BC certificates will not be accepted as a claim for reservation under OBC.

All the candidates who have applied under EWS category were asked to upload the EWS
certificate issued in the Government of India format by the competent authority.
However, if any EWS candidate has not uploaded the said certificate he/she will be
required to produce the same at the time of admission/ interview failing which their
candidature under the EWS category will not be considered.

3. M.Phil. Economics and Ph.D. Economics

Candidates who have applied for both M.Phil. and Ph.D. Economics can download the
Hall Tickets of both the courses. As the Question paper is common such candidates
are advised to appear in the Ph.D. Economics examination and the marks secured
will also be considered for M.Phil. Economics

4. Sponsored category applications for various M.Tech Courses:

All applicants under Sponsored Category should download the application form,
attach copies of educational qualifications and experience certificate and forward the
application along with the sponsoring Institute letter by Speed Post on or before 15-05-
2019 addressed to:

5. M.F.A. Painting/ Print making/ Sculpture:

All the applicants were expected to send 15 attested photographs (8”x10”) of recent
works in a sealed envelope to Head, Dept. of Fine Arts, Sarojini Naidu School of Arts and
Communication, University of Hyderabad, Prof. C.R. Rao Road, P.O. Central University,
Gachibowli, Hyderabad –500 046 latest by 10.5.2019.A faculty member of the Fine Art
College/Institute must have attested the photographs of art works from where the
applicant received his/her BFA/BVA/BA (Fine) degree. For further details please refer to
Dept. of Fine Arts chapter in the Prospectus. The sealed envelopes mailed must contain
the following information: Name of the candidate: Application Number: Name of
Institution: Candidate must specify the choice of stream/ Discipline on priority basis on
the envelope: Painting/ Print Making/ Sculpture1.............. 2.............. 3..........

6. M.C.A:

There is no separate Entrance Examination for M.C.A. candidates. The candidates will be
shortlisted on basis of the NIMCET 2019 scores in order of merit for Admission/
Counselling.

8. Downloading of Hall tickets:

Downloading of Hall tickets for the Entrance Examinations, 2019 will start from 20th May
2019 from 3.00 p.m. onwards.

9. Entrance Examinations:

31st May, 2019 at 30 Centres.
