Hush, little baby, don't say a word,


Mummy will buy you a mocking bird.

If that mocking bird doesn’t sing,


Mummy will buy you a diamond ring.

If that diamond ring turns to brass,


Mummy will buy you a looking glass.

If that looking glass gets broke,


Mummy will buy you a billy goat.

If that billy goat doesn’t pull,


Mummy will buy you a cart and mule.

If that cart and mule turn over,


Mummy will buy you a dog named Rover.

One, two, buckle my shoe,

Three, four, knock at the door,

Five, six, pick up sticks,

Seven, eight, lay them straight,

Nine, ten, a good fat hen,

Eleven, twelve, dig and delve.
