Tencel - your new favourite yarn.

Tencel is a organic sustainable natural material manufactured from wood
chips, primarily from beech and eucalyptus. The wood is FSC certified and
comes from natural culling of the woods or leftovers from other wood produc-
tion. Tencel is the most sustainable of materials, made with the most utterly
environmental concerns.
The uniqueness of Tencel - soft and mild for the skin. The composition of the
fibres’ smooth structure from beech and eucalyptus makes Tencel material
very pleasant for the skin. It’s softer than silk and smoother to the skin than
wool and cotton and has also a fantastic 6absorbent quality.

 VEST - WITH LACE PATTERN
3 MONTHS (6 MONTHS)
Cast on 141 (155) sts on N 3,0 mm holding the
yarn double
First and last st = edge sts.
Knit ribbing - k1, p1, back and forth (the first 6 sts
on each side are button bands, k first and last st on
each side, the 6th st toward the front piece is to be
purled (hence the odd number of sts to be cast on).
Knit 7 (7) rows.
Change to N 3,5 mm
Place a marker on each side
- 37, 67, 37 (40, 75, 40) sts.
Knit the lace pattern with stocking stitch on each
side: 6 (6) sts rib, k8 (9), 16 sts lace pattern,
k7 (8), the back in stocking stitch, k7 (8), 16 sts lace
pattern, k8 (9), 6 (6) sts rib.
Knit until the work measures 15 (18) cm.
DIVIDE FOR BACK AND FRONTS
Continue straight up with the back piece, but always
UK k2 (2) on each side towards the sleeve opening.
When the sleeve opening measures 8,5 (9,5) cm
put the middle 31 (37) sts on an auxiliary needle.
Finish each side separately.
Bind off 2 (2) sts towards the neckline.
Bind off.
Right front
Continue as before until the sleeve opening
measures 5 (6) cm and with k2 towards the front.
Start decreases for the neckline. Put the 6 (6) sts of
the button band on a support thread.
Size. 3 months
Decrease 4 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 1 sts on every other row.

Size. 6 months
Decrease 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 1 sts on every other row.
When the sleeve opening measures 9 (10) cm,
bind off.
Left front
Knit the left front the same, but opposite.
Knit or stitch the shoulder seam together.
Pick up sts on both front pieces with N 3,0.
Knit over the new stitches together with the stitches
from the back and fronts, in total 78 (86) sts.
Make a buttonhole in the middle of the button bands
first row. Knit 6 (6) rows - k1, p1.
Bind off.
FLOUNCES
Increase for the flounce:
Pick up the loop from the last row and knit tbl.
Pick up sts along the sleeve opening within the
2 knit sts using N3,0 mm, skip every 4th st, until
a total of 52 (60) st.
K on both sides (garter stitch).
Knit 2 (2) rows.
Increase every 4th (4th) st for the hole row,
k 1 (1) row. Repeat 2 (2) times.
At the same time do the short rows:
Knit until 5 (5) st remain, turn, k until 5 (5) sts
remain on the opposite side.
Repeat 4 (4) times. (5 (5) sts before the previous
turn).
Knit 2 (2) rows (garter stitch) covering all sts.
Bind off. Fasten the ends and sew on a button.
