This was a worksheet
The year 2 students were
given a completely different
worksheet on an easier level
as well as quantity. The year
2 students were also given
the aide of mini whiteboards
to work out their answers
and use the learning
strategies we have been
focusing on.
The time frame for this
activity was the same as year
3 and so they were delegated
more time to complete their
work.
However not all year 2
students were given this
worksheet I have also
differentiated by identifying
which students are capable of
harder work and instructed
them to do the year 3
worksheet.
that I created for the
year 3 students on
multiplication. This
was a word problem-
based multiplication
questions, I have
observed that a lot of
the students do not
have a very good
analysis when
multiplication is in the
form of word
problems. Year 3
students had more
difficult questions and
more questions than
the year 2 students.
This was one of the
ways I have show
differentiation within
my lesson for such a
varied class.
