Learning Goals:

1. This course will expose students to basic written texts, new vocabulary, and introduce to
the skimming and scanning a text in intermediate level
2. This course will expose students to multi-paragraph reading that develop a central idea
and increase students’ reading strategies for comprehension
3. This course will increase students’ identifying skill and are able to employ reading
strategies to analyze text
