ABSTRACT

This study entitled “Seiglor Earphones” attempted to invent an earphone with six
earpieces from e-waste that is used in activities like watching T.V shows, listening to music in a
group of six persons, and to create privacy from the non-users to the users. It aimed to determine
the effectiveness in terms of functionality and acceptability in terms of usability of the device. It
was conducted at Ayaoan, Luna, La Union and at Luna National High School-Central, Barrientos,
Luna, La Union from June to March, S.Y: 2017- 2018.
(5) Experts and (15) groups of respondents, (6) persons each group, tested and rated the
functionality and usability using a questionnaire survey. Based on the findings, the product was
effective in terms of functionality and acceptable in terms of usability.
According to the results, it was concluded that Seiglor Earphones is acceptable and
functional.
