- Creative writing is any writing that goes outside the bounds of normal professional,
journalistic, academic, or technical forms of literature, typically identified by an emphasis
on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various
traditions of poetry and poetics.

2. Give the difference between creative writing and technical writing and other forms of writing.

- The differences between creative writing and technical writing are that creative writing is
written mainly to entertain with the creativity of the mind and technical writing is written
mainly to inform in a formal manner or to incite the reader to make an action such as
purchase the writer's product.

3. Name the purpose of creative writing.

- It does not only improve their writing but also the quality of reading. Creative writing
plays an important role in a child's literacy development. They enjoy writing more, having
to choose their own subjects and methods of writing; they also develop better reading
habits from reading their own stories. The purpose of creative writing is to persuade, to
inform, to entertain, and to channel emotion.
