SET 23: CANTEEN DAY
Last Saturday, Ana’s school organized canteen day at their school

compound. The parents and pupils attended the event. The teachers set up the
booth to sell various foods.
Ana and her friends helped Madam Intan to sell cakes and cookies. They
were busy entertaining the customers. Many customers liked to buy their chocolate
cheese cake. Many of their items were almost sold out.
They were busy and tired the whole day but enjoyed the event so much.
They went home late at 6 pm. It was unforgettable moment for them.

SET 24: A VISIT TO A CHOCOLATE FACTORY
Yesterday, Darren and his classmates went on an educational trip to a

chocolate factory. They went there by bus. They felt excited to learn the process
of making chocolate.
When they reached the factory, Encik Mansor, the person-in-charge,

welcomed them and brought them around the huge factory. Encik Mansor explained
to the students about the processes of making chocolate. Darren and his
classmates took pictures around the factory.
After the tour, the pupils bought some chocolate as the souvenirs for their
friends and relatives. They went home at 5 pm. They felt tired but happy.

SET 25: SCIENCE EXPERIMENT
Last week, our Science teacher, Madam Ramlah gave us bean seeds. She
instructed us to do experiment during Science class. We did the experiment in
Science laboratory.
First, we took the bowls and placed the cotton inside them. We put the
seeds inside the bowls and watered them. We left the seeds for a few days in the
laboratory.
After a few days, we went to the laboratory to check the seeds’ conditions.
We were very excited to see the seeds grew well. Madam Ramlah congratulated us
for our success.

SET 26: INCIDENT AT THE PLAYGROUND
Yesterday, Ziana and her friends went playing at the playground near their
housing area. There were many people at that time. Ziana hung at the monkey bars
happily while her friends were surrounding her.
Suddenly, she lost her grip and fell hard onto the ground. Her leg was
broken. She cried in pain. Her friends shouted for help. Many people rushed
towards her. They called the ambulance as quickly as they could.
A few minutes later, the ambulance came. They took Ziana to the nearest
hospital. Ziana thanked everybody for their help and kindness.

SET 27: A GOOD DEED
Yesterday, Reen and Azlin were walking home from hockey practice.
Suddenly, they saw a brown wallet at the school compound. They took the wallet
and saw some money inside it.
Then, they went to the headmaster’s office. They handed the wallet to the
headmaster. The headmaster promised to find the owner of the wallet as soon as
possible.
The next day, the headmaster announced about the missing wallet. Susanty
admitted that the wallet was hers. She thanked Reen and Azlin for their honesty.
The headmaster felt proud for having the honest students like Reen and Azlin.

SET 28: HARI RAYA CELEBRATION
Last week, Saleha and her family celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Before
the special day, her parents bought new cloths for every family member. They also
prepared their house beautifully. Saleha’s mother cooked delicious dishes such as
chicken rendang, satay and many more.
On that day, Saleha woke up very early in the morning. She prepared herself
and then followed her parents to perform prayer at the mosque. They also visited
their late grandparents’ grave.
After that, they met their relatives and friends at their house. They hand
shook and also asked forgiveness from each other. It was a memorable experience

SET 29: FELL OFF THE BICYCLE
It was hot afternoon. Tarmizi was cycling home from school. Suddenly, he
saw a small boy on the road. The boy was crying in pain. So, Tarmizi quickly stopped
by the roadside.
The boy fell off his bicycle. His knee was hurt and bleeding. He could not
walk. Tarmizi felt pity to him. He helped the boy to stand up.
After that, Tarmizi took the boy home. When they reached the boy’s house,
Tarmizi told the boy’s mother what had happened. The boy’s mother thanked
Tarmizi for his kindness. She was happy as her son was safe and sound.

SET 30: CATCH FISHES
It was hot afternoon. Aryan and his friends went to a paddy field near their
house. They brought along their nets. They wanted to catch freshwater fish. They
were very happy as it was their first experience to catch fish using nets.
They managed to catch a few fishes. They put the fishes in plastic bags.
Then, they cycled home. At home, they placed the fishes in bottles. All of the
fishes were very beautiful and colourful.
The fishes swam gracefully in the bottles. It was very exciting moments to
Aryan and his friends.
