2. Why are you traveling to this place? I have never been to Las Vegas and I
know the city is known as a party city, but I heard the Las Vegas strip is amazing and I
love watching the ufc and boxing, so I could visit my favourite fighting gyms and the
mgm grand.
3. Number of people vacation is planned for: one person
4. Budget amount: My median salary as a Fund Manager is $90,000 so to get my
budget for this project, you take $90,000 and multiply it by 0.05 which equals $4,500
and that is my budget. Budget=$4,500.

Weather

Transportation

2. I will be flying with Air Transit and it will cost $958.75 for the entire round trip because I
am flying Eco Flex which is more expensive than flying Eco Budget and Eco Standard. With
Eco Flex, I get more options such as, refundable options, 2 checked bags, date changes, and
preferred seat selection.

Food
1. How much do you have budgeted for food for each day (per person)? No budget for
food if it is under $100 each day but can exceed this limit a few times.

3. Average the price range of breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the chart: Average of
$38 for price range and I got this number but adding all the numbers below on the chart
then dividing by 12 because that’s how many different prices there are and that is how
you find the average.
4. Choose one restaurant, plan an evening meal, and calculate the total cost. Include
all food (appetizers, entrées, desserts, and drinks), tips, and applicable tax: Bis (Italian
restaurant), calamari fritti, salsa picante $18, risotto pollo Pirelli Zaffirini $33, tiramisu
$11, drink $13. Total including tip and tax =$98.35

2. Why did you choose it? I chose it because I love how charming and elegant the
hotel itself looks and I love the vibe. As well, it has a great location in the city

Total cost of $453 for everything I want to do in Las Vegas.

1. Total cost of trip: (Transportation to/from, transportation during, activities, food,
+$150.00 for souvenirs) Total cost for this trip came to $3785.25 plus $150 for souvenirs
which equals 3935.25
2. Did you stay within the budget? What was the dollar difference? Yes, I stayed in
budget and had a left-over of $564.75
3. If you under-budgeted, what will happen with the extra money? With the extra
money into my savings account in case something happens in the future and I need
more money.

5. After researching the vacation destination, would you still like to go there? Why or
why not? Yes, I still want to go to Las Vegas because it seems like a cool place to visit
for a couple days instead of a whole week. Due to this project, I feel well prepared for
my trip soon and I have a sense of how much it is going to cost and what I can explore
within the city.
