Wallet functionality to bidders:

Let’s Assume there are 9 plots (1 to 9) scheduled for auction on 3 days with 3 plots on each day.

EMD for each plot is fixed at Rs. 100. A bidder has deposited only Rs. 100 in his wallet.

1. Bidder can choose to participate in any one of the plots i.e plot 1 or 2 or 3, but not all plots because
the amount in wallet is insufficient to pay EMD for all three plots.

2. Once bidder pays the EMD to participate in auction of any of the plots, the available balance in the
bidder’s wallet will accordingly get reduced by Rs 100.

3. Once Auction is concluded, and on authorization of refund to unsuccessful bidders by HMDA, EMD of
such bidders (who are not H1) will be refunded back to the wallet.

4. On EMD amount getting refunded to the wallet, the bidder may use this amount for participation in
other auction events that will get conducted on day 2 or day 3.

5. If the amount is authorized and refunded to the wallet on Day 2, the bidder shall use the refunded
amount for participation in auction of plots 4, 5 and 6 on day 2.

6. The schedule of refund back to the wallet will continue as outlined above for day 2.

7. Accordingly, if the bidder is unsuccessful in the auction events of day 2 and refund to unsuccessful
bidder is authorized by HMDA, the bidder may be able to utilize the amount in the wallet to participate
in the auction events of day 3 (for plots 7, 8 and 9)

8. It may be noted that this is just an example to show the bidders how they can utilize the EMD
payment process to optimize their participation for multiple auction events.

9. It shall be noted that the bidder should not expect the refunds to be triggered on immediate basis
based on the above given example. It shall be done by HMDA on a best effort basis as per the terms and
conditions provided to the bidders.
