Position Summary: Front end Developer

General Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design
with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the user interface/ user
experience design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
You will work with the user interface/ user experience designer and bridge the gap between
graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining
how the application looks as well as how it works

Accountable for:
A. Job Responsibilities: Front end Developer

1. Create visually appealing websites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
2. Helps with maintenance and additions to the website.
3. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design
roadblocks.
4. Create website layout/user interface as appropriately required.
5. Create and Integrate complex working hierarchical structures.
6. Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
7. Create and maintain design documentation.
8. Develop new user-facing features
9. Collaborate with clients to define and implement innovative solutions for the product
direction, visuals and experience.
10. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
11. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
12. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
13. Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
14. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
15. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level
stakeholders.
16. Communicate clearly and often, but work effectively independently, with minimum
supervision within deadlines.
17. Work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master
diverse web technologies and techniques.
18. Work successfully in a collaborative work environment with a variable mix of promoters
and their requirements.
19. Handle tight deadlines with multiple projects within a start-up environment.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any relevant field is ideal.

Required skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience on AngularJS/ReactJS

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX,
REST
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp, Photoshop, illustrator
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN/ Bit
bucket
• Proven experience on Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience on SVG, single page web applications
• Knowledge of Node.js is a plus
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
