Get More Done And Focus On What Matters

With This Simple Tool

You know what they say, “life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react
to it”. Well… they’re WRONG. It’s not about how you react to life that’s important,
it’s about how you PRO-act. About how well you plan.

To be successful in life, you need to take responsibility for getting yourself from
where you are now to where you want to be. You need to realize that YOU are at
the root of your own success. You need to make a plan and then carry it out. So,
let’s plan your perfect day by following the steps below.

FIRST— Identify what activities you would ideally ENJOY doing each day relating
to your self, your work, and your relationships. We’ve listed some examples for you
in the chart below.

Self Work Relationships

Journal Focus time Spend time with spouse

Meditation Meetings Spend time with kids

Workout Top 3 critical tasks Spend time with friends

Read Catch up Date night with significant other

Hobby time Emails Movie night with kids

Quiet time Plan for the next day Dinner with friends

This day should have a mix of all 3 themes. Personal time, work time, and
relationship time are all critically important for success. Fill your day with blocks of

6:30-7 AM: Drive to gym
7-8:30 AM: Workout, stretch, shower, and get dressed

2-2:30 PM: Nap
2:30-4 PM: Available for meeting/opportunity
4-5 PM: Free time to finish out the remaining top 3 tasks of the day
5-5:30 PM: Plan next day
