Curriculum Framework Description: Determine and discuss the value of professionalism
and involvement in professional, academic, and leadership activities.

professionalism and all of its aspects.
Tasks:
a. Video on Professionalism
i. Graphic Organizer following the video
b. Talk about the video in Small Groups
i. Discuss handshakes
ii. Mention relationships in the workplace
iii. Discuss how to approach a boss
Assessment/Evaluation: This graphic organizer makes it easy for students to learn and
understand the main points to the video as well as key note taking strategies to carry on into
the future. I highlighted the main concepts in the graphic organizer and did a variety of ways to
display the material. Students have the option to answer in a long paragraph with one of the
points in the video, the ability to pick out a specific detail with the question about wearing a
suit, and finally the ability to recap the entirety of the video. The graphic organizer achieves the
concepts I am teaching the class: professionalism.
