GUIDE FOR THE ETUTORS ON MARKING

SHORT-ANSWER ESSAY QUESTION (SEQ)

1. Make sure you are inside the course page.
2. Go to Grades in left sidebar. (1)

3. Scroll right until you see short essay question section. Click on the SEQ quiz that you need to
mark. (3) Note: All SEQ questions will have “SEQ” label on its title. For exampe: Quiz 4 (SEQ)
4. Scroll down until you find table data student that have attempted the quiz.
5. Click “Requires grading” one by one for each of Q1,Q2 and Q3. (4)
6. Click on “Make comment or override mark” (5) and new pop-up window will appear for the
grading
7. Make comment. (6)
8. Give mark. (7) Full marks is 5.
9. Click button save. (8)
 10. You will get response history like (9) if your finished give marks to the student essay

Repeat STEP 5 – STEP 9 for another TWO questions for this particular quiz

Note: You can always revise the marks by following the same procudure mentioned above but this
must be done before the deadline of the marking
