REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE OF THE STUDY

In this section gives an overview of the various methods and techniques generally
used for motion detection. This section reviews the state of art in automatic
detection which would be able to give output accurately in any situation,
regardless of the enviornment, light, and activity, etc.

Motion detection is the process of detecting motion through difference from its
initial appearance to its last. A motion detection system should be able to predict
the values of the pixel ensuring that the camera has been detected certain things.

Motion detection systems are typically geared toward surveillance applications

where it is desired to monitor people and or vehicles moving about an area. Systems
such as these need to perform in real time, and be able to deal with real world
environments and effect such as changes in lighting and spurious movement in the
background.

Syed Zain Nasir, a programmer and founder of the The Engineering Projects(TED) that
shares knowledge through this platform, further comments that motion detection
should be used as the medium of surveillancing surroundings in order to capture an
image from the record to give alarm.
