    CLASS RULES:

    1. We will have at least three major exams.


    2. Major exams will be announced.
    3. Attendance will be recorded.
    4. Class recitation: primarily from the book and the cases assigned for each
    topic.
    5. Students will be called randomly for the recitations on the
    book/provisions/cases.
    6. Reading everything directly from the book/notes/gadgets when a student is
    being called to recite is frowned upon. The student can glance at their
    book/notes/gadgets.
    7. NO SPECIAL EXAMS FOR THE MAJOR EXAMS. The class will take the exam
    together on the assigned date. UNLESS there is an emergency, the taking of a
    special exam will be subject to the professor’s discretion.
    8. There will be short quizzes.
    9. GRADING SYSTEM:

    70% - MAJOR EXAMS (pre-lim, midterm, pre-finals, finals)


    20% - ORAL RECITATIONS/QUIZZES
    10% - ATTENDANCE
    100%

    8. Passing grade: 75
